This Hotel is not cheap but you will not be disappointed. The LOCATION is FANTASTIC. It was easy to get to most places by train or bus. The metro is just outside the hotel door, a stone's throw a way. The park across the street is beautiful and so is the library. Provides a sense of 'space' in an otherwise very crowded city. Plenty of breakfast and coffee places along the row. Whole Foods across the road was excellent too. The coffee served in the lift lobby every morning was good. Although the muffins were a thoughtful addition, it was often a little soggy. Appreciated the cold water at the lift lobby through the day. Wonder if a bottle of water in the room each day may be too much to ask. It was nice to get a bottle water each at checkin. Both Check in and out was very smooth. The staff were all very friendly and willing to help. The room was big for a hotel in central city. And the bathroom was huge. Loved the amenities in the shower. We had a bottle of complimentary champagne in my room as it was my birthday. That was a lovely surprise. The room had everything we needed including an umbrella. And the front desk handed out small umbrellas that came in handy due to the constant rain while we were there. The bed and pillows was very comfortable. Although we did hear some street noises, it was not too bad as we were on the higher floors. They also provided ear plugs for those who needed them. We walked to plenty of shows on broadway and museums from here. The location was just perfect for us. Without the madness and crowds of Times Square. And close enough to all the shopping on 5th and 6th Avenue.

The Bryant Hotel is in an enviable position being at the heart of most thing in Midtown. Being between 5th and 6th avenues is perfect for sightseeing and shopping. You are just steps away from a subway line and just round the corner from Grand Central. The rooms have super comfortable beds - firm, but not too firm. They have a bath AND separate shower, with Molten Brown toiletries. Housekeeping was excellent. Free coffee and muffins in the morning is a nice touch, as is iced water, that is available by the lift all day. Best of all is the staff. We encountered warm friendly people, who enjoyed what they did. We met Jo, John and Scott and they were brilliant. Even the chap that put our bags in the taxi, at the end of the trip waved us off - just a little thing, but a nice touch.

Best location in Manhattan, being right on Bryant Park and walking distance close to many attractions. The property itself has an understated elegance about it, being located in a beautiful old building. The place is run with minimal fuss, the staff all being exceptionally friendly and efficient. You don’t see all the frills as you would do in a luxury hotel, but everything is there. We were upgraded to a large suite on a high floor and the amount of space was exceptional and comfortable, well suited to a weeks stay at the hotel. Could not have chosen a better hotel without paying a lot more money.

Everything! Attentive and courteous staff, very welcoming as soon as you walk in the door. Complimentary coffee and muffins-the coffee was very good. Beautiful decor from top to bottom-the lobby, Koi restaurant, Celon’ lounge, and the rooms are nicely decorated and extremely comfortable. The view is so lovely overlooking Bryant Park. The location is perfect, Times Square or a Broadway show are an easy walk, the subway is also convenient and close by. On our last day we were able to check our bags until we were ready to leave NYC.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel when I stayed there several weeks ago. My connecting flight from Newark to Washington DC had been unexpectedly canceled, and I needed to find a hotel in New York on very short notice. The hotel staff - Shannon in particular - greeted me with warmth and graciousness and made my stay a lovely one. Her thoughtfulness and professionalism, as well as the lovely room and beautiful location, made this a wonderful experience. I would absolutely stay here again.
